Avery is a native to Portland, OR spending her undergraduate years in Eugene, OR as a student-athlete for the University of Oregon Women’s Golf team. She completed her master’s degree in physician assistant studies at Le Moyne College in Syracuse, NY. She became board certified in September 2017 by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and worked as a neurosurgery PA in Long Island, NY before moving to Bellingham in September 2021. Outside of work, she and her husband Curran enjoy the great outdoors, traveling, cooking, and live music.
